WOKC x OneSails GBR Sponsorship Survey

WOKC and OneSails GBR launch survey on the representation of people in advertising within the sailing industry.

OneSails GBR and WOKC are proud to collaborate on a new industry survey examining the representation of people in advertising across the sailing industry. The survey aims to determine if there is any disparity in how people are depicted by our sailing brands across the industry, including assessment on who is visible in advertising and how inclusive those portrayals are, with the goal of sparking more diverse and authentic storytelling in the sport. This survey is open to all individuals involved in or observing the sailing world—regardless of gender identity, level of experience, role, age, ability, religion, or upbringing.

Upon completion of the survey, you will be entered into the prize draw where OneSails GBR will be selecting one person at random to win an up-cycled sail bag. This will be customised with your name, sail number, or boat name.

The survey will be open to the sailing community, with results to be presented following WOKC 2025.

In addition as part of their sponsorship, OneSails GBR will lead the Friday afternoon training programme, delivering a high-impact, on-the-water session focused on sailing and trimming techniques, race strategies, crew communication, and more. The session is open to all WOKC 2025 competitors and designed to equip sailors with practical, performance-focused insights that can be applied both during the event and in wider competition.

This marks the yet another year that OneSails GBR will take an active coaching role at WOKC. With decades of experience at the highest levels of the sport, their team of experts will provide attendees with tips and tools that extend beyond sail trim—addressing tactical thinking, teamwork, and adaptability on the water.

About Women’s Open Keelboat Championship

The inaugural Women’s Open Keelboat Championship was founded in 2008 by a group of passionate female sailors who wanted to compete in challenging racing against other women. Over the years, the team and vision behind the regatta has evolved, as has the world around it. Today, WOKC is focused on growing the participation and development opportunities, and subsequently the quality, of female sailing in the UK. The committee is made up entirely of volunteers, and donations of support, time and charity raffle prizes are all gratefully received. The event is non-profit making with all proceeds being fed back into the event or to the year’s nominated charities.
