The Spirit of WOKC Award:

We’re proud to introduce the Spirit of WOKC Trophy at this year’s UK Women’s Open Keelboat Championships, sponsored by Balance.

This special award will honour the boat that races competitively and goes above and beyond to champion inclusion — creating real pathways for women to participate and progress in our sport.

Judged by an impartial panel throughout the weekend, the winning crew will embody the true spirit of WOKC: performance with purpose.

The survey aims to determine if there is any disparity in how people are depicted by our sailing brands across the industry, including assessment on who is visible in advertising and how inclusive those portrayals are, with the goal of sparking more diverse and authentic storytelling in the sport.
